What an Emergency Hospital Visit in Small-City China REALLY Looks Like! 🇨🇳

It was quite a shock getting a phone call halfway through our lunch telling us that my mother-in-law had broken her wrist. By the time we arrived at the hospital, she’d already seen a doctor—and within another 30 minutes, she’d had two X-rays, had her wrist put in a cast, and was on her way home to rest. I was genuinely impressed by just how quick and efficient the whole process was at our local hospital here in China. Healthcare isn’t free here like the NHS back home in the UK, but in our experience it’s affordable, efficient, and good quality, with the cost of treatment being very reasonable. Most importantly, my mother-in-law is back home now, resting and doing well. ❤️
