About a month ago, I decided I HAD to see my mom. She had recently recovered from surgery, which meant I wasn’t going to be taking any risks when it came to Covid exposure; flying wasn’t an option. So I did something I haven’t done since I was a teenager, I drove! I drove from Los Angeles, CA to Austin, Texas in two days, alone. As soon as I got over the fear of wondering what would happen if, my Honda suddenly couldn’t make the journey, or if my air conditioning wasn’t up for the 110-118 degree weather reports, I was immediately excited. I wanted to capture the trip, and this is how I did that.
