Horror Month: ParanoiaScape: Victory!

Originally streamed Oct 10, 2026. The tenth proper annual "Horror Month!" Once again featuring a variety of games, especially PS1! Been wanting to play this game since I came acrossed it a couple of years ago. The only game made by "Screaming Mad George," a somewhat well known makeup effects artist for horror movies, this is quite a strange game. It's a 3D first person pinball game where you are advancing through corridors as a pair of skeleton flippers, trying to keep your bouncing ball ahead of you. Sometimes you fight a boss, and sometimes there are other weird types of completely different stages. What ties it all together is a bizarro horror movie aesthetic where the stages are often made up of guts and body parts, and there's even a part where a digitized Screaming Mad George pops up to yell at you. I love the horror movie aesthetic of this game! It's constantly throwing new and bizarre stuff at you, and mostly looks awesome. The soundtrack is eclectic, consisting of a variety of metal and electronic music, and a lot of it is pretty good! And the game actually plays surprisingly well, aside from one kind of messed up stage where you are following fish. The best thing about this game is how short it is, it can easily be played through in an hour and a half. A short and sweet experience that is well worth checking out. This is a game I'm probably going to want to come back to over the years!
