Railfans camped out all day with paper signs and eager anticipation hoping it would arrive before dark! Often you could here this train up to 1 hour before you could see it, which even added to the drama. Often slogging it's way up the mountain at 9-15 MPH for hours at a time holding up the whole railroad! Join us for a look back at the SP in the 1990s and in earlier views of the 1970s.
