Whose Hands Are You In? | Ephesians 2:10
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works…” — Ephesians 2:10
When parents look at the ultrasound of their unborn child, they don’t wait until that child is fully developed to see something beautiful. They already say, “That’s our baby!” They see beauty and identity even while development is still taking place.
How much more does God know what He is creating in us?
When we are born again in Christ, Scripture says that 'we are His workmanship.' We may still be growing. We may still have rough edges. We may not yet look like everything God intends us to become. But the Master already knows what He is making.
God sees beyond the stage you’re in. He knows the good works He has prepared for you, the purpose He has placed upon your life, and what His grace is forming you to become.
So perhaps the question isn’t, “Do I look finished yet?”
Perhaps the better question is:
Whose hands are you in?
In this message from Ephesians 2:10, we explore what it means to be God’s workmanship—created in Christ Jesus, shaped by the hands of the Master, and prepared for the good works He has ordained for us to walk in.
You see the process. God knows the purpose.
You see what still needs work. God sees His workmanship.
Welcome to Enter the Soul Forge—where we allow the Word of God to challenge, shape, refine, and transform us.
If this message encourages you, share it with someone who needs to be reminded that God is still at work in their life.
