Tyne and Wear Metrocar 4001 heads to the Stephenson Museum for preservation (10/09/25 and 11/09/25)

Prototype Tyne and Wear Metro 4001 has became the first out of two Metrocars to be preserved following it being hauled to Howdon to be loaded onto a lowloader to be sent to the Stephenson Museum/NTSR over the course of 24 hours. This video shows this process with it being recorded on both Wednesday 10th of September and Thursday 11th of September 2025
