Ever wondered why your footage looks cheap or amateur, even when you're using a good camera? The truth is, you don't always need a better camera, expensive lens, or a crazy cinematic LUT. A lot of the time, the problem is in the way the footage is corrected, graded, and matched. In this video, I take you through my simple DaVinci Resolve workflow for making footage look cleaner, more natural, and more professional. We'll look at: Exposure White balance Contrast Color grading Skin tones Shot-to-shot consistency Why simply adding a LUT isn't enough My “Fix First, Style Later” approach Before & after examples The goal isn't to add more effects. It's to understand what's actually making your footage look wrong and fix it. If you're a beginner filmmaker, photographer, YouTuber, or content creator trying to improve your videos, I hope this helps you look at your footage differently.
