The grey seal population of Donna Nook

Enjoy a visual version of our Donna Nook podcast episode released at the start of last year as part of our Wilder Lincolnshire podcast series. Back in December 2024, Melvyn visited the incredibly popular Donna Nook National Nature Reserve to learn about the grey seal colony that comes to the Donna Nook coastline to give birth to their pups each year. This wildlife spectacle attracts visitors from all across the UK and reserve warden for the site, Matt Blissett, discusses managing such a big operation and all you need to know about grey seals!
