Catching Huge Squid - Inflatable Boat Fishing UK

I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to fish some new ground offshore and a spell of decent weather meant I had to get out and see what could be found on lures. After a 10 mile cruise @ 12 knots I was surprised to find better conditions than forecast, a real rarity for me. The usual suspects were quick to the Crazy Paddle tails and Black minnows and once the tide slackened I had the chance to experiment with a new style of lure, the Kabura jig. On the return journey I spent some time targeting the squid which are here in great numbers at present.
