Turn Back to God While There Is Still Time

What does it mean to turn back to God while there is still time? In today's Sunday Scripture reflection, we are reminded that God calls us to turn away from sin and return to His ways. Ezekiel 18:25–28 teaches that when someone turns away from wickedness and chooses what is right and just, that person shall live. This is not simply a message about the past. It is an invitation for us today. Perhaps there is something in your life that God is asking you to change. Perhaps you have been distant from Him, carrying guilt, or delaying a decision to return to Him. God's invitation is clear: turn back, repent, and live. The Gospel also presents Jesus' teaching about two sons—one initially refuses his father's command but later changes his mind and goes, while the other says yes but does not go. Jesus uses this to teach about responding to God's will through our actions. If you have wandered from God, do not assume that it is too late to return.
