3 Hours Japanese Zen Music 克己復礼 (Kokki Fukurei) — "Master Yourself, Return to Grace" Thank you for being here. 🙏 Night settles over an old wooden dojo. On the far wall, a great white tiger is brushed in ink across the sliding screens, waiting among the bamboo. A lone samurai kneels before it in seiza, his back to the world, his hands resting quietly in his lap. Two paper lanterns breathe a low amber light across the polished floor. A single thread of incense smoke lifts and curls through the still air. The koto and shakuhachi drift slowly, without a beat, the way a long breath leaves the body. 克己復礼 (Kokki Fukurei) means "master yourself, return to grace" — an old teaching of Confucius: subdue the self, and courtesy returns. The tiger on the wall is not an enemy waiting somewhere outside. It is the restless, hungry part of you — the impulse, the temper, the urge to react before you have thought. You do not fight it. You sit down in front of it, and you breathe until it grows as still as you are. 🍃 Perfect for • Long stretches of deep work when your attention keeps slipping away • Studying late, when you would rather scroll than begin • Sitting zazen, or simply breathing before a hard conversation • Steadying yourself after a day that pushed every one of your buttons • Falling asleep without replaying what you should have said 🎵 All music and visuals are AI-generated. Featuring soft koto strings, a distant shakuhachi bamboo flute and a warm low drone, with a singing bowl sounding far away every so often. There is no beat and no crescendo — the arrangement stays flat and spacious on purpose, created for deep focus, meditation, zazen, quiet study and rest. 🏯 About the Thumbnail A great white tiger, painted in sumi ink across the sliding screens of an old dojo, fills the wall from floor to ceiling, its gaze steady and calm rather than fierce. Tall bamboo stalks rise in dark brushstrokes on either side of it. Below, a lone samurai in pale robes kneels in seiza on the dark polished wood, his back to the viewer, his sword laid at his side. Two paper lanterns glow warm amber at the far left and right, their light spilling in long reflections across the floor. A thin ribbon of incense smoke curls upward through the quiet. Nothing in the room moves but that smoke — one small living thing in a place that has decided to be still. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔔 New Zen music every day If this brought you a moment of calm, subscribe and turn on the bell — a new three-hour world of stillness will be waiting for you. 👉    / @komorebisleep   ▶ More Komorebi episodes (🥋 Samurai Zen Series):    • 🥋 Samurai Zen Series | 3 Hours Japanese Ze...   ☕ Support the channel (optional) If this music brings you a moment of calm, you can buy me a coffee: 👉 https://www.buymeacoffee.com/komorebizen ◆ Copyright ◆ All music and visuals in this video belong to the Komorebi channel.
