Who owes you what, and what do you owe? Learn how to manage customers and suppliers in MyCloudBook: their details, their balances, their statements, their documents, and the files and notes you keep about them. In this tutorial, our example company Bright Bean Coffee adds a new customer and sends a statement. Customers are shown in full; suppliers work the same way and are covered at the end. You'll see how to: ✅ Use the Customers list (Sales › Customers): the AR Balance column, the status filter, search and Export to CSV ✅ Add a customer with its primary contact person, billing and shipping addresses, and custom fields ✅ Read the customer page: the receivable balance, Edit Info, and the four tabs ✅ Build a statement for any date range, save it under a number, print it, download it, or send it by email ✅ Open any statement line's document with a double-click ✅ Use the Documents tab to see every invoice with its status: paid, due, or overdue ✅ Keep files in the Attachments tab and team notes in the Notes tab ✅ Set a customer inactive instead of deleting it, and know why a contact with transactions can't be deleted ✅ Apply all of it to suppliers (Expenses › Suppliers): the payable balance, bills, and one address ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 Introduction 0:31 Part 1 - The Customers list 1:35 Part 2 - Add a customer 2:37 Part 3 - The customer page 4:18 Part 4 - Statements 5:45 Part 5 - Documents, attachments and notes 6:54 Part 6 - Edit, inactive and delete 7:43 Part 7 - Suppliers, in brief 8:43 Recap 💡 TIP: Don't delete a customer you no longer work with. Set it to Inactive: it disappears from your lists and pickers, and its history stays in your books. 🌐 Try MyCloudBook: https://www.mycloudbook.com 👍 If this video helped, please like it and subscribe for more MyCloudBook tutorials. #MyCloudBook #CustomerStatement #AccountingSoftware #CloudAccounting
