Special international heritage train - Gorizia to Nova Gorica line

On the 24th of September 2023, a special cross-border heritage train was organised, for the yearly "Gusti di Frontiera" food fesitval in Gorizia. The train, originating from Trieste, arrived in Gorizia and then headed to Nova Gorica, Slovenia, on the international line normally only used by freight. This video documents the journey of this train, on the Gorizia to Nova Gorica section, from the rear view window. The train was formed of "Centoporte" carriages from the 30s alongside a D.345 (n. 1055) diesel locomotive - necessary, as the line in Slovenia isn't electrified.
