TK Evolution 200 Traction Elevators @ Wiseman Residence Hall, Belmont University, Nashville, TN

A ride on some fast TK Evolution 200 traction elevators at Belmont's newest residence hall: Wiseman Hall, named after Belmont alum Betty Wiseman. This is the building I'm currently living in this year, and I previously lived in last year. The elevators are equipped with a security system in that to access a floor, students will need to scan their Belmont-issued ID. Some of the floors within the building correspond to certain genders as well (hence why I wasn't able to go to the very top floor at the time I recorded). About the complex itself: This building opened in 2025 and is divided into 2 distinct sections: a premium suite section for freshmen, and an apartment section for upperclassmen. Each section has its own dedicated lobby and common area. There's also a dedicated food market on the first floor, and a mini-store and milkshake shop on the second floor as well. Overall, this building is a vital part of Belmont's infrastructure, and it will continue to house several hundred students for generations to come.
