Checking in with My Co-Workers: Re- Inventing My Divination Practice

Welcome to Wispy Seer! Today, I'm welcoming you straight into my nest for a very honest conversation about what happens when your body changes the rules of your passion. After 31 years of professional reading, a long, multi-year journey with carpal tunnel led to back-to-back surgeries in 2024, followed by a deeply challenging recovery, trigger thumb, and an arthritis diagnosis in 2025. This physical transition changed my relationship with everything I handle—from how I type and play video games, to the limited time I can spend playing with my cats, to how I hold my beloved divination tools. I'm sitting down with my horde of divination right on my desktop to show my personal method of weeding through a massive card collection. We are breaking down these tools into three very clear groups: the co-workers that are simply too heavy or large to physically handle anymore, the unique "in-between" sets that require creative adjusting or custom section trimming to remain usable, and the nimble, highly curated favorites I’m keeping right by my side to stay connected to the flow without pushing my body past its boundaries. I want to know how you handle your own transitions. How do you reinvent your passions and sort through your own tools when life forces a shift?
