Sleep Token - Are You Really Okay? Reaction Today I’m reacting to Sleep Token’s “Are You Really Okay?” for the very first time, and this one hit me harder than I expected. Going into this song, I knew Sleep Token had a reputation for writing emotional music, but I wasn’t prepared for just how personal and real this track would feel. What stood out to me was how the lore and mystery surrounding the band seemed to completely fade into the background. For a few minutes, it wasn’t about theories, symbolism, or hidden meanings—it was simply about a deeply human message. The acoustic guitar was absolutely beautiful throughout the song and gave it a heartfelt, almost country-inspired feel that worked perfectly with Vessel’s vocals. The arrangement allowed the emotion to take center stage, and every lyric felt sincere and painfully honest. By the end of the reaction, I found myself getting emotional to the point that I couldn’t even make it through my normal lyric recap. Some songs entertain you. Some songs impress you. And every once in a while, a song reaches you on a deeper level. This was one of those songs for me. At this point, Take Me Back To Eden is quickly becoming my favorite Sleep Token album. Several of my favorite Sleep Token songs have come from this record already, and “Are You Really Okay?” has firmly earned its place among them.
