While this setup offers different strengths compared to my previous configuration, a few subtle adjustments unlocked a solid, powerful low-frequency response, along with a greater sense of scale and dynamic range. In this arrangement, the 18 Helmholtz resonators built into the speaker surfaces function exactly as Hervé described—recreating a sound reminiscent of a 2-meter-wide open-baffle speaker system. The darTZeel MHD-12NB is nothing short of remarkable. I highly recommend that you try this for yourselves if you have the chance.
