**Correction**
Minor correction! During the choruses there's one power chord which should be swapped for a root, major 3rd dyad. Bar 55 at 1:13, is should be 8 on the low D (6th string) and 7 on the G (5th string). It's a small one but worth noting. Thanks to Wrongperfection for pointing it out!

Time for more Gojira and this time it's the boing boing song, Amazonia. There's 4 main parts to learn to this one. The intro riff on the open D, the verse with all the gallops, the really catchy chorus and a nice bridge section with some whammy pedal action that we've heard more of over the recent couple of albums.
The intro riff is straight forward enough, use behind the nut bends and that's about it! The verses are gallop focused so a good one to practise if you're still building up your playing. It's not as tricky as Backbone as the fretting hand isn't moving as much.
The chorus is pretty straight forward. Lots of power chords with little additions. On the record there's a chord that lowers in pitch about a half step. I decided to very gently flex the neck about a 1/4 tone, but if you're not comfortable doing that and don't have a tremolo then playing the open chords is absolutely fine! As far as I can tell Gojira play simple open chords for that part.
The bridge section towards the end makes use of a whammy pedal set to +2 octaves and again is fairly straight forward. There are some hammer on notes that have a slightly swung feel to them sometimes.
