She Was Fine The Day Before... Then She Was Gone 💔

On September 22nd, a beautiful 13-year-old Red Panda named Yuka ate her food and went outside into her enclosure. Less than 24 hours later, the Ichikawa City Zoo had to announce a heartbreaking goodbye. 🥺💔 In today's factual, documentary-style video on Catto Luna, we step away from Monkey Mountain to honor the incredible life of Yuka. Her story is truly unique: Born as a triplet, she was hand-raised by zookeepers. She became remarkably accustomed to humans, but defied the odds by growing up to become a successful mother to three cubs of her own! We explore the fascinating biology of red pandas, explain why their bamboo diet makes them sleep so much, and discuss the medical reality of why exotic animals hide their pain until the very end. Yuka lived a beautiful life, and the zoo is honoring her with a special memorial. 🌺 👇 LEAVE A TRIBUTE BELOW! 👇 Have you ever seen a Red Panda in person?
