Known for its open mountain views and fresh high-altitude air, this area is surrounded by gentle ridges and rolling hills that form part of the Areguni Mountain Range. With clear blue skies, the region feels peaceful and remote, making it perfect for filming wide panoramic shots. As the road descends, the landscape gradually shifts from rugged slopes to green valleys. At 08:05, you reach the town of Chambarak (Ճամբարակ), one of the main settlements in the Gegharkunik Province. Chambarak sits in a wide valley nourished by rivers and mountain springs, and it is historically known for agriculture and old rural traditions. The town is surrounded by gentle hills that open toward the eastern side of Lake Sevan. Continuing along the H30, the scenery becomes more intimate as the road passes through small villages. At 20:20, you arrive in Ttujur (Թթուջուր), a peaceful rural community known for its quiet stone houses, orchards, and fields. The village lies in a green corridor between forested slopes, giving it a fresh and pleasant atmosphere. A few minutes later, at 27:00, you enter Getik (Գետիկ), another picturesque village shaped by the riverbanks and traditional Armenian farm life. Surrounded by forest patches and soft mountains, Getik is a great example of the calm and natural beauty of this region. The nearby hills belong to the lower extensions of the Sevan Mountain Range, adding depth to the horizon. The road continues smoothly toward Martuni (Մարտունի), reached at 29:00. Martuni is one of the largest towns near Lake Sevan and serves as an important cultural and economic center in the province. It lies in a wide basin surrounded by mountains on one side and open plains leading toward the lake on the other. Martuni offers a mix of modern life and rural charm, with its markets, small cafés, and local traditions. Leaving Martuni, the road climbs gently into more scenic landscapes. At 42:08, you pass Aygut (Այգուտ), a small village surrounded by open fields and gentle hills. The name “Aygut” refers to orchards, and the village is indeed known for agriculture and wide farmlands stretching toward the mountains. The drive concludes at 48:15 in Dprabak (Դպրաբակ), a quiet and remote highland village surrounded by nature. The area feels untouched, with clear views of the surrounding mountain ridges that frame the sky. The peaceful landscapes, fresh air, and open horizons make this area perfect for capturing beautiful autumn scenery. #Armenia #ArmeniaRoadTrip #DrivingInArmenia #Gegharkunik #LakeSevan #H30Road #Chambarak #Martuni #Aygut #Dprabak #AutumnDrive #ScenicDrive #MountainViews #solo_traveler_7o
