How long does paint correction actually take? Hours or Days? Polish vs Correction | After 100+ cars. Usually when I mention paint correction, people assume that means fixing rock chips and peeling up clear coat... Little do they know, you do actually need all of your paint to be able to correct it. Paint correction is an extremely long process when done correctly, and when people ask how long we need the car for, they are always shocked when I say at least 2 nights for any proper correction. And then the next shock to the system is the price. And this is usually when I hear "I'll think about it". Because the truth is, most people don't care nor see the things that this process will do, and that, is ok. At the end of the day, this is a luxury service and if you're simply doing it because you want protect the paint, going with another company that doesn't focus on a showroom correction finish will be your best option.
