Rebuilding the Howe Car

In 1896, Bloomington jeweler Joshua Howe, built the town’s first horseless carriage; a century later, two Bloomington men set out to rebuild the legacy. The original Howe car is stored at IU's Mather's Museum, and though it is not on display, there are other wonderful exhibits to explore.  Learn more at: indiana.edu.
