We started our journey together, but after reaching Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), my friend’s health suddenly got worse. He couldn’t continue the trek, so I had to make one of the biggest decisions of the journey—continue alone to Annapurna Base Camp. Despite the cold weather, thin air, and physical exhaustion, I pushed myself and finally completed the ABC Trek. This was one of the most emotional and unforgettable moments of my backpacking journey in Nepal.
