Fence Line Forest Clearing

Come with me as we clear a section of forest to string up a temporary electric fence line. Trees limbs and vines that are too close to the line have potential to be knocked over by cattle and thus, ground out the fence. This clearing is precautionary and long term beneficial. The goal is to have sparse tree canopy throughout the ranch. Thin out the forest to allow light in to promote grass growth and add trees to pasture for shade. The ever present shade allows cattle to graze continuously throughout the day all while helping the grass retain moisture (not mature early and dry out/die). #texas #holistictexan #regnerativeranching #texasheat #posinivy #fenceline #electricfence
