Lect 36-2 Hemiacetals, Hemiketals, Acetals, & Ketals

In this video, I will give a quick review of acetals, ketals, and also focus and little more on what hemiacetals and hemiketals are. This is important because sugars tend to form hemiacetals, not acetals when they are in their closed forms. I also explain a strategy for recognizing these 4 types of functional groups (FGs) quickly.
