The Mastermind Behind a Nude Painting Which is Sold for 270 Million RMB

In Jay Chou's "Greatest Work of Art" MV, one artist appears the most frequently: Sanyu (Chang Yu), one of the most important Chinese artists of the 20th century and the only Chinese painter of his time to enter the core Western art circles. In 2019, one of his paintings broke through 270 million RMB, becoming Sanyu's highest-valued artwork at auction to date. All of this is inseparable from over 30 years of research and promotion by one person—Rita Wong. On October 16th, the exhibition "Because of Sanyu" opened at the Yitiao Art Center (No.89 Wenxi Road, Wujiawan, Yuhang District, Hangzhou City). Rita Wong served as the academic advisor for the exhibition, and the curator was her good friend, the collector Yao Qian. Yitiao visited the exhibition site in Hangzhou for an exclusive interview with Rita Wong. *Don‘t forget to turn on CC/Subtitles! If you like this video, please click on 👍 and don't forget to leave your comment! Daily original short videos,That tell touching stories. Subscribe to our YouTube channel here👇！ Turn on the little bell🔔 for notification and be the first one to watch our videos！ An Introverted Homebody Becomes an Unexpected Top Star at 55    • 一個社恐宅男，在55歲意外成頂流，全網為他著迷 An Introverted Hom... The Only Chinese Daughter-in-Law of the Givenchy Family    • 另類豪門媳婦，52歲人生重啟，爆火成頂級超模 The Only Chinese Da... Two female best friends in their 40s moving to the countryside together    • 兩個女性好友結伴搬到鄉下：40歲，邊奮鬥邊養老 Two female best fr... Follow us on: Facebook:   / scmp   Website: https://www.yit.com #一条#一條#Yit
