Beckmesser Tries to Steal Walther's Song

A brilliant moment of the third act: the little interlude heard in the beginning is outstanding with it's orchestration and cheerful lines! Beckmesser's vocal lines are really funny as well. Beckmesser tries to steal Walther's song that Sachs had just written, and the master decides to give it to the thief, knowing that he would not be capable to sing it well. Music: "Ein Werbelied ! Von Sachs... Ist's wahr", from the third act of the music drama "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" Composer: Richard Wagner Orchestra: Herbert von Karajan with the Staatskapelle Dresden Picture gotten from Google.
