Newcastleton's new MTB flow trails: Hidden Valley and Swarf Hill. Riding the red grade route

Newcastleton is a hidden gem amongst the 7 Stanes, and it’s had a quite substantial makeover. In March of 2019, 7 Stanes announced on its Facebook page that major work was underway and it was being carried out on two trail sections: Hidden Valley Upper and Swarf Hill. This was followed in April by a teaser announcing that the revamped trails were expected to reopen the following month. In this video I revisit Newcastleton and ride the red grade trail for the first time in almost 10 years, including the new look Hidden Valley Upper and Swarf Hill. Did you like this video?
