Join us on a farm in West Sussex as John puts his MDH-1700 Moore Unidrill Trailed Direct Drill to work, sowing a wildflower mix with triticale and barley for the Countryside Stewardship Scheme. This 24-row machine, equipped with a Guttler-style prism packer, is built for versatility - handling everything from barley and wheat to beans, peas, and now wildflowers. John shares why he chose the trailed version over the popular mounted model, how it performs in cultivated land, and how his Massey Ferguson 6616 handles it with ease. 🚜 “I like the simplicity, no fancy electronics. I was told it wouldn’t go into cultivated land, but it does and at 10–12 km/h, no problem.” As one of the first MDH-1700 twin tank/hopper trailed machines, John’s drill had a few early challenges - but it’s now a key part of his operation. 🔧 Learn more about the MDH-1700 here: https://www.moore-unidrill.com/grainf... 🌱 Explore more stories and product updates: https://www.moore-unidrill.com/top-sp... 📸 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more real-world farming stories and machinery in action! #MooreUnidrill #MDH1700 #DirectDrill #WildflowerMix #CountrysideStewardship #UKFarming #NoTill #FarmMachinery #WestSussexFarming
