Generation Wheel: Before entering a new route/area, I spin a 1-4 wheel to determine the generation. 2. First Encounter Only: I can ONLY catch the first wild Pokémon that matches the spun generation. Any non-matching encounters must be skipped. If I faint the pokemon I am attempting to catch I cannot catch anything else on that route or area. 3.
