RAW 4K 60FPS HDR POV Ride: Montreal Saint-Michel to Roxboro (NIU NQi GTS)

Hop on for a purely visual and ambient POV ride across Montreal on my NIU NQi GTS electric scooter. No talking, no background music — just the raw sounds of the city, the road, and the electric motor. This route takes us north up Saint-Michel Boulevard, west along Fleury Street, and through a quick merge onto scenic Gouin Boulevard Ouest, following Gouin all the way near our destination in Roxboro. The ride was recorded around 9:00 AM under clear blue skies with just a few clouds. 🎥 TECHNICAL EXPERIMENT & SETTINGS: For this upload, I wanted to test a brand-new recording, editing, and publishing workflow to see how it affects the viewing experience: • Camera: GoPro Hero 12 Black • Resolution: 4K at 60 Frames Per Second (4K60) • Color Profile: High Dynamic Range (HDR) instead of my usual SDR • Digital Lens: Linear (rather than Wide) • Stabilization: HyperSmooth turned completely OFF. Without digital stabilization, you will visually "feel" every crack, bump, and pothole in the Montreal pavement. 🎬 EDITING & RENDERING: This footage was edited and rendered in DaVinci Resolve Studio 20. Delivering a true HDR file to YouTube came with its fair share of rendering challenges, but it allowed me to preserve the full dynamic range of the bright morning sky, adjust the audio to comfortable levels, and apply clean crossfades for the intro and outro.
