Tooro King Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I Urges Parents to Protect Children From HIV Risk Behaviours

The King of Tooro, His Majesty Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I, has joined Christians at Virika Cathedral Parish in Fort Portal City for Mission Sunday prayers, calling on parents to nurture and protect their children against immoral behaviours that contribute to the high prevalence of HIV. Meanwhile, the Bishop of Fort Portal Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Robert Muhiirwa Akiiki, who led the Mass, has appealed to the government to establish a cancer treatment centre in honour of the late King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV to provide specialised care for cancer patients in the region.
