Videocast Episode 001: The Carpenter (1988)

WARNING - MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD! The Hysteria Continues is currently under construction, and to mark the occasion, we're dusting off our VHS collection and taking a closer look at The Carpenter (1988), a bizarre, low-budget supernatural slasher that just might be the most unexpected home renovation nightmare you're likely to see! We take a look at Wings Hauser’s unhinged performance as the ghostly handyman, the film’s mix of romance, horror, and absurdity, what it did differently in 1988 in context with its cinematic/home video peers, background on then-first-time director David Wellington, and Wings Hauser's peculiar work ethic!
