Why the Valkyries Can't Let Atlanta Back Into the Series

The Golden State Valkyries are one win away from a WNBA championship, and Kiah Stokes and Veronica Burton explain what it will take to finish the job against the Atlanta Dream. In this postgame press conference, Stokes discusses her impact on both ends of the floor, the confidence her teammates give her, and the importance of staying aggressive when opportunities arise. She also reflects on hearing MVP chants from the fans and why the entire team deserves recognition for its success. Burton talks about the value of having Stokes protecting the paint, her own defensive performance, and the trust and support that help the Valkyries play with confidence. The conversation also covers Burton's shot-blocking performance, her willingness to play heavy minutes, and the team's mindset heading into a potential championship-clinching Game 6. With Atlanta still fighting and the stakes higher than ever, the message from the Valkyries is clear: stay humble, trust each other, and finish the job.
