Trijuga: A Biodiversity Paradise in Eastern Nepal

This video is a glimpse into our field journey across the Trijuga (Triyuga) Forest, one of Nepal’s largest remaining lowland forest patches outside protected areas. Spanning approximately 430 sq. km. across Udayapur and Saptari districts, this forest forms a vital part of the fragile Churia landscape. In between 2023-2025, we conducted intense field works to document the biodiversity of this region. Through this compilation, we bring you closer to the hidden life, that call Triyua forest their home.
