Day 5 of learning digital art from scratch: after days of struggling, I had a breakthrough with drawing the head from different angles. I practiced the front, side, and three-quarter views, tried low and high angles, and drew Makima. I’m a complete beginner using a pen tablet with no screen, and my goal is to one day draw my own webtoon and manga. Here’s what I practiced on Day 5: ✏️ Fundamental shapes: circles, boxes, and random shapes ✏️ Head in front view, side view, and three-quarter view ✏️ Low angle and high angle (still too hard for now) ✏️ Drawing Orihime (rough face only) ✏️ Drawing and coloring Makima from reference The tutorial that helped me: (paste the creator’s name and link here, and credit them. It’s a nice thing to do, and they may notice.) My plan: master the three-quarter view first, learn eyes alongside faces, then come back to low and high angles. 💬 Got tips for drawing heads from different angles? Leave them in the comments.
