BEST of ENYA - Greatest hits

Enya, born Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin, is a world-renowned Irish singer, songwriter, and musician famous for pioneering modern New Age and Celtic pop music. Rising to global stardom with her 1988 breakthrough album Watermark and its iconic hit "Orinoco Flow," she captivated listeners with her distinctive soundscapes. Her signature style relies on layering her own vocals hundreds of times, creating a haunting, ethereal, and atmospheric choral effect sung in English, Irish, and even fictional languages. As a classically trained pianist, she composes her melodies independently while collaborating closely with producer Nicky Ryan and lyricist Roma Ryan. Throughout her highly private career, she has won four Grammy Awards and sold millions of albums worldwide, making her one of Ireland's most successful solo artists. Beyond her musical achievements, she maintains a health-conscious lifestyle and follows a diet that includes fish but no other meat, as she is a pescatarian.
