Haunted Mansion Holiday | Disneyland | Full Ride Nighttime POV 4K | Opening Day August 21, 2026

The Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay to the Haunted Mansion attraction has returned to Disneyland Park for the Halloween and Christmas Season, and will be available between August 21, 2026 through early January, 2027. This overlay began in 2001 and has been running seasonally ever since. Enjoy a full ride through alongside the lightning lane queue. Filmed on August 21, 2026, at around 10:47pm. Because Fantasmic! was running at the same time, audio from the show interfered with the music of the attraction during the queue. Haunted Mansion Holiday is a complete overlay and reskin of the classic dark ride attraction, Haunted Mansion, located in Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Haunted Mansion is also located at Walt Disney World in Florida, and Tokyo Disneyland in Japan. The Disneyland version opened August 12th 1969. Similar versions of the ride exist in Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland. The Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay is available to experience every year in Disneyland since October 3rd 2001, starting each year around the end of August to early January. It mixes the theme of the regular Haunted Mansion with characters and scenes from Tim Burtons The Nightmare Before Christmas. The story around this overlay is that Jack Skellington visits the Haunted Mansion and leaves holiday chaos throughout the Mansion. In order for this transformation to occur, the attraction closes late July-early August for its renovation, and then closes again in early January to reconvert back to Haunted Mansion.
