Feast: Sts Simon the Zealot and Jude Thaddaeus, Apostles I October 28 I CARMEL LIGHT

Ephesians 2: 19-22 “Built on the foundation of the apostles.” Brethren: You are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. Psalm 19: 2-3, 4-5 (R. 5a) Their sound goes forth through all the earth. 1. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands. Day unto day conveys the message, and night unto night imparts the knowledge. 2. No speech, no word, whose voice goes unheeded; their sound goes forth through all the earth, their message to the utmost bounds of the world.
