Cat Dropped Off Her Kittens

A stray cat frantically brought her one‑month‑old kittens to a woman. One kitten would be easy to understand, but she kept coming back with more, bringing her whole family. What would you do? One evening, the woman met the cat in her neighborhood. The cat set a kitten down right in front of her. When the woman did not take it, the cat lay down to beg for her help. It seemed the cat had already chosen her. The next day, the stray waited for the woman after work. She walked all the way home with her to learn where she lived. Soon, the cat showed up at the window carrying another baby. When the woman still did not respond, the mother cat walked straight through the front door. Tired out, the mother cat collapsed, gasping for breath. The woman cooked fish soup for her. The hungry cat ate greedily. She had probably never had such good food on the street. It was the woman’s first time caring for a nursing cat, but she got everything ready. Litter box, treats, freeze‑dried chicken and cat food. No wonder the cat trusted her with her babies. She had watched the woman for a very long time. Once the kittens were safe inside, the mom took a break and stopped nursing. The woman worked hard to feed all the little ones, serving chicken, shrimp and fish every day. Before long, even the mother cat put on weight. As the kittens grew, the woman worried about their future. With no one ready to adopt them, she decided to keep the whole family. This total, unconditional trust was the stray cat’s most precious gift to a kind soul.
