DIY Pocket Notebooks - Our First Try

My son and I have been tinkering with something new, DIY pocket notebooks. This is our first try, so no step-by-step yet, That might be its own video if enough of you want to see it. ---- We used thread instead of staples for the spine. ---- Tried spine binding tape to fix the fraying problem pocket notebooks usually have. ---- Made notebook covers out of an old 1954 Montgomery Ward catalog pages. ---- Tested a few different papers, including some that play nice with fountain pens.
