NBAA-BACE 2026: Textron Citation Ascend Tour

The Textron Citation Ascend is Textron's latest midsized bizjet and the current version of the Citation 560XL. The latest iteration includes a new Garmin G5000 cockpit with autothrottles, modern APU, a flat-floor cabin, better windows in the cockpit and passenger cabin, improved sound insulation and variety of other features. The plane will carry up to 12 passengers and has a four-passenger range of 1,940 nautical miles. AvBrief's Russ Niles spent some time around the Ascend at the NBAA-BACE 2026 static display for a tour of the aircraft.
