batam staycay | an interesting read | solo coffee date

In this vlog, we went on a 3D2N Batam staycation at Oakwood Hotel Grand Batam, with the gang. On one library visit, I discovered a Chinese author, An Yu, new to me. Her novel, "Ghost Music," evokes a mysterious, ethereal vibe that makes you read on with anticipation. We managed to take a routine walk at Punggol Coast, basking in great weather, lotsa breeze. I also baked a butter pound cake which I have been craving for. And I was lucky enough to have some time for a solo coffee date at a lovely neighbourhood cafe that serves good bakes. I also tried a new Almond Soy Milk with my caffeine drinks. Hope you enjoy this vlog. See you in the next one.
