1st October 2026 – This was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our Canadian adventure. Driving from Calgary into the Rockies, we watched the landscape transform from open prairie into towering mountains, deep valleys and immense forests. Lake Louise was breathtaking, with its brilliant turquoise waters framed by snow-dusted peaks and the Victoria Glacier. But Moraine Lake, nestled beneath the magnificent Valley of the Ten Peaks, was equally spectacular. Getting a shuttle reservation had been a challenge, but every moment was worth it.
