A Life I Almost Knew | THORVÆL

A Life I Almost Knew is a Nordic ballad about the lives we once imagined for ourselves — the homes, relationships, and futures that felt almost certain, but never came to be. This song reflects on the strange nostalgia we can feel for a life we never actually lived. Not with regret, but with the quiet recognition that every path taken leaves another unexplored. It speaks to the moment when we can look back at those abandoned possibilities without wanting to return to them. Some dreams don't need to come true to have mattered. They can simply remain part of who we once were. “We leave behind more than old places. We leave the lives we might have lived.” © THORVÆL – All rights reserved. #THORVÆL #NordicMusic #NordicBallad #CinematicFolk
