Bass fishing at Inanda Dam, South Africa (Feb 2021)

We had the opportunity to go bass fishing at Inanda Dam recently with Tiaan from SA Bass Fishing Tours. It wasn't an easy day's fishing but we managed a few nice bass and had an overall good time as usual. Inanda itself is another stunning dam although it seems to be developing a bit of a hyacinth problem exactly the same as Hartebeesporrt Dam which is surprising for Natal. At least it provides ample habitat for big bass :-) Let's hope it doesn't become like Harties though, Inanda is prime fishing waters for all kinds of species and it would be a shame if it's overrun by these invasive plants...
