This trip to Pakistan began with one deeply personal reason: I wanted my children to spend time with my Ammi again after years of separation. But before leaving, I also wanted them to experience Lahore—not only through our family stories, but with their own eyes. In this vlog, we explore the historic Lahore Fort, visit the resting place of Allama Iqbal, stop at the nearby museum displaying sacred relics traditionally associated with important figures in Islamic history, and end our evening at the breathtaking Badshahi Mosque after the rain. Watching my children walk through Lahore’s history made me see my own city differently. The wet courtyard, evening lights and peaceful atmosphere inside Badshahi Mosque became one of the most meaningful moments of our journey. I also share a small glimpse of the new Milaaan collection I began selecting before returning to Canada. The complete collection reveal will be coming soon. This was one of my final outings in Lahore—but the most emotional day was still ahead: my last full day with Ammi.
