Is Grinnell Glacier Trail Worth It? Our Early-Season Hike

Join us as we hike the Grinnell Glacier Trail in the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. With turquoise lakes, waterfalls, mountain scenery, and sweeping views throughout the route, this became our favorite hike of the trip. We visited in early June, when snow and seasonal trail conditions prevented us from completing the entire route. Although we had to turn around approximately one mile before Grinnell Glacier, the scenery made the hike one of our most memorable experiences in Montana. In this video, we share what the trail looked like during the early season and what we encountered along the way. Trail conditions in Glacier National Park can change quickly because of snow, weather, flooding, and wildlife activity.
