HOW GOOD Was George Lynch ACTUALLY?

George Lynch is one of the most distinctive guitarists to emerge from the golden age of 1980s heavy metal. With his twisted riffs, insane legato, whammy-bar wizardry and unmistakably dark tone, Lynch helped define the sound of Dokken and became one of the era's most revered guitar heroes. But how good was George Lynch actually? In this Halloween special, we dive deep into the story of the man behind the infamous "Mr. Scary" persona — from his early days struggling to understand the guitar, to the Sunset Strip, his near-miss with Ozzy Osbourne, and his eventual rise to fame with Dokken. And, of course, we'll get into the darker side of the Dokken story — the drugs, the egos, the legendary arguments between Lynch and Don Dokken, and the bitter breakup that brought one of the most fascinating bands of the era crashing down. More than 40 years later, George Lynch remains a one-of-a-kind guitarist whose influence and legacy continue to live on. These videos take an insane amount of time and effort to make, especially alongside having a family and a full-time job.
