HDB Block 639 Choa Chu Kang || IFE Elevator

Recorded on 15 July 2026. [VIDEO #7032] This is Block 639 Choa Chu Kang Street 64, located within Blocks 638-643 Choa Chu Kang cluster, opposite of NS5 Yew Tee. Previously, it was 2 1996 Fujitec lifts serving this block - same as Blocks 638 & 643. Since July 2025, two lifts were being replaced to IFE under Lift Replacement Programme (LRP). Like the previous 1996 Fujitec lifts, it serves 12 storeys overall with Level B1 carpark for Lift B only. Filmed during Evening Peak Hours, so it might be crowded. This is the final batch to be filmed under IFE-replaced lift era at Choa Chu Kang, marking 100% completion of IFE replaced lifts at Yew Tee. Blocks 638, 639 & 643 Choa Chu Kang were the second batch to be replaced by IFE in Yew Tee since July 2025 due to just 2 lifts. Whereas Blocks 640 - 642 were replaced 3 quarters earlier from October 2024.
